Windsure is always on the lookout for people who share in our passion for Watersports and the outdoors. Employment with Windsure is work but, it is also “life on the beach” a fun and rewarding place to be. In 1974 Windsure brought windsurfing to Vancouver establishing the very first windsurfing rental and instruction operation in Canada. We began by operating out of the back of a car on Kitsilano Beach, and moved to Jericho Sailing Centre in 1977. Windsure Adventure Watersports is North America’s most established windsurfing school, providing the most comprehensive range of lessons available to the public for over 40 years. We have maintained our goal of making our windsurfing, skimboarding and stand up paddling programs the best available at Jericho Sailing Centre.

• General Instructors (Wingsurfing, Paddleboarding, Windsurfing, Skimboarding) - Casual

Please note that the following certifications are required of all staff:

• Standard First Aid OFA Level 1 with CPR & AED or Equivalent

• Pleasure Craft Operating Card

• Valid Criminal Record check (if working in Summer Camp positions)

• For SUP Instructors: Paddle Canada Certification or willingness to obtain it

• Any additional certifications such as NLS (lifeguarding), WSI (water safety instructor), advanced first aid, etc are welcome.

We are always open meeting people who share our passions for an active, outdoor lifestyle and the sports of windsurfing, skimboarding and stand up paddling. Positions begin in May, June or July (staggered, as our season becomes busier) and continue throughout the summer until the end of September.
